How we compare sources
We collect published cost estimates from established home-improvement resources and display them with full attribution. Each source uses different data collection methods, scopes, and geographic coverage. We do not average incomparable estimates. Instead, we help you understand what each source includes and why their numbers differ. All sources are linked so you can verify the original data.
